Japan is, without a doubt, one of the most enchanting destinations for street and travel photography. It has a special place in travel lore with some magical destinations. Just a short hop away is South Korea, a far smaller country with its own charms and quirks. So, which is better for street and travel photography? After two years of living in South Korea and spending a couple of weeks in Japan last year, I give my observations and insights around shooting street and travel in both countries. In this video look at a few factors that separate these East Asian travel superpowers like visual interest, exploration and travel opportunities, and cost of travel.
