A brief walk around the Gion district of Kyoto, loosely following the first part of the walking tour as given on the ‘Inside Kyoto’ website. Sadly, I couldn’t get to see Gion in the early evening when the bars and restaurants are open, and when the Maiko (apprentice Geisha) can sometimes be spotted.
