On the 8th of march we set out to Japan to experience 3 months of Japanese culture and new adventures, and during that week ahead everything in the world turned bad over night. The global pandemic had caught up with the whole world and one by one everyone went on complete lockdown to tackle the issue, accept Japan up until now. We documented the 3 weeks we have been in Tokyo and how it has effected the county. Tourism is no existent but we ignored the reality and continue on as usual. Here is our experience being stuck in Japan and on a lockdown that started Saturday 28th March 2020
We did naively explore Tokyo because at the time we couldn’t understand the situation here as nothing was being announced or being handle which we regret, but at the same time there was nothing we could do but try to enjoy the country even though this was going on. Now we are in isolation and taking measure we need to survive here. I hope this video gives people a glimpse to the danger and how people are dealing with this in Asia and hopefully will make people realize what we need to do to end the pandemic.
