This is Angel Road, on Shodoshima Island in the Seto Inland Sea. It is a sandbar that connects Shodoshima to three smaller islands just off the shoreline, and only appears during low tide.
Legend has it that walking this road hand in hand with your significant other is supposed to bring luck to your relationship!
