Nakijin Castle Ruins, Motobu, Okinawa, Japan GoPro 1080p

The Nakijin Castle Ruins are the historical remnants of a Gusuku (Okinawan fortress) in the Motobu Peninsula, a peninsula located in the northern part of Okinawa Island. It takes approximately ninety minutes to drive from Naha City. Most of the castle walls were built with Ryukyu limestone. They were formed with piled-up coral calcareous and easy to process. Unlike these castle walls, Nakijin Castle was built with the hard rocks called Paleozoic limestone, and they were unearthed from its premises. As a tourist site, the ruins are particularly known for the beautiful view out over the East China Sea, for the impressive grandeur of the castle walls, and for the overall amount of space taken up by the castle grounds. This fortress is designated as a world heritage site. Admission is free; Okinawa, Japan 2019. Shots were taken with GoPro Hero 7 Black 2.7K downsized to 1080p HD.
