Mount Fuji – UNESCO World Heritage Site

Fujisan, or Mount Fuji, is Japan’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in central Japan, about 150km west of Tokyo, Mount Fuji stands nearly 3800m above the sea. We didn’t have the best weather for our vist, but what’s interesting is that Mount Fuji is a World Heritage Site for both its incredible natural beauty, and the revered position it holds in Japanese culture and society. Join us as we explore both the beautiful mountain, and the incredible works of art that it has inspired over the centuries!
