Uchiko is a charming retro town located in Ehime Prefecture, on the island of Shikoku.
Yokaichi Old Town is a street lined with 90 Meiji period houses, which sport the area’s trademark yellow plaster and white detailing. They have been beautifully preserved, so the townscape still looks as it did when this was a huge center for wax and paper-making.
