In this video, my mom and I continue our tour of Intramuros with our tour guide Richelle. Here we go into the Baluarte De San Diego Gardens, which is my favorite place in Intramuros where we learned about the history of this place during the Japanese occupation.
Early on in the video, I shared with Richelle some of the things that I have learned about the beginnings of the present day Filipino republic.
Some of the things that I said can be seen as controversial or divisive to some people, as a some might have a different perception about the first president of the Philippines, Emilio Aguinaldo.
I strongly urge anyone who would like to know more about his history and rise to the presidency through other sources, including the links I have provided below.
