JR岐阜駅の真ん前にある繊維問屋街とその周辺の街を歩いてきました。昭和21年頃、焼け野原となったこの地に北満州の引揚者がバラック小屋で古着や軍服などの衣料を売った事が始まり。戦後の物資不足で作れば売れる時代に始まりアパレルで栄えた街は日本繊維産業の衰退とともに活気が失われつつあります…。 ★寂しい街、商店街を歩くシリーズ ►

私は下町生まれの下町育ちで親が商店を営んでいた事もあり、小さい頃の遊び場は市場や商店街でした。大型モールや少子高齢化により私の小さな頃と今とではかなり変わってしまいましたが今でも私は商店街が好きです。そして昭和の匂いのする街が大好きです。
栄枯盛衰、商店街は全国的にいわゆるシャッター街が増えておりこのままでは廃墟化してしまうかもしれません。ガラッと変わるのは好きではありませんが静かなる復活を期待しつつ残されている街を自分の目で確かめアーカイブしておきたくなり動画を撮影・アップしました。
