Arriving in Japan & Narita Express to Tokyo (N'Ex)

What it’s like arriving in Japan at Narita Airport and taking the Narita Express train (N’Ex) into Tokyo. Things to remember at the airport, including picking up your pocket wifi, JR Pass (Japan Rail Pass) and how to buy train tickets.

Join me for my first hour in Japan after a long haul flight from the UK, getting from the airport to our hotel. There are a few things to do when you arrive in Japan: pick up your pocket wifi, exchange your JR Pass and get train tickets. I’ll explain about Suica / Pasmo cards, including the new Welcome Suica and Pasmo Passport for foreigners. Then I’ll show you where to get tickets for the Narita Express train from the airport to Tokyo Station, which I think is the best way to get to / from the airport.
