Japanese Kotowaza or 諺 (ことわざ) are proverbs or saying in Japanese Language.
The saying give little insights, truth, wisdom, words or warning, and overall knowledge nugget of the world around us!

Today’s Kotowaza is 可愛い子には旅をさせよう | Kawaii ko ni wa Tabi wo saseyo Or “If you love your children send them into the word”

You could also say don’t spoil your kids, and let them learn to walk on their own 2 feet!

Whats your favorite Kotowaza??
