Explore the culture of Japanese shrine visits with me. the first shrine visit of the new year, to the Zuiho-Ji Shrine in Sendai, Miyagi, Japan. If you happen to visit one of Sendai’s most interesting sights, Zuihoden, then stop by Zuiho-Ji. The temple is also located in Kyogamine Park, about thirty minutes on foot from Sendai Station.
