Kamakura City in Kanagawa is the former capital of Japan. It’s famous for old Buddhist Temples, the second largest Buddha statue in Japan, and of course the famous anime locations along the beach facing the Pacific ocean. If you are an avid fan of Slam Dunk like me, we need to go there to witness the hype even to this day. Activities: Eating fresh sushi, surfing, visiting temples, eating in organic restaurants, visiting farmers’ and fish market, wearing kimono, riding old trains etc.
