SANKEIEN GARDEN – THINGS TO DO IN YOKOHAMA

Editorial note:

First video of this year! Thank you so much for your patience. I’ve been trying to seal up as many deals and media appearances (a big one is set soon) that I wanted to sit down and work on my various projects to assist you in making any travel decisions in the places that I am introducing.

As always, thank you for your continued patronage, support and love and may you all be blessed with happiness!

Let’s begin 2020!

What I really appreciate the most about Japanese aesthetics is the way that Gardens are designed.

I would be in awe by the simplicity of its design and the Torii gates that would be at least within, eyes view.

If you find yourself in Yokohama, there are a few spots to consider looking but of course, Kanagawas national treasured Garden, Sankeien is no exception.

Featuring a large lake, a three story Pagoda that sits on top of a hill that overlooks the Plains and the various huts in which you can sit down and have a Tea Ceremony or a full course lunch, it is a destination for all travellers wishing to experience the deeper aspect of culture that is almost the same as being within the heart of Kyoto itself.

Such an easy place to travel to, have a look at it the next time you’re in Yokohama

Many thanks to Voyagin for bringing me here.
Many thanks to the staff at Sankeien for their generosity in this video
