2:30 is where the flight review starts, feel free to watch the lounge review part before that 🙂
Terrible food, terrible crew with bad service.
Aircraft: B-LNO (6.5 years old when this video was taken)
Flight Date: July 16th, 2019
If you have watched any of my videos, you will know that I don’t complain too much, but this time I have to. Overall the worst flight I have had so far… lazy and rude lounge staff, dirty and damaged seats, terrible food, noisy & rude fellow passengers, EVEN THE CALL BUTTON WAS TURNED OFF BY THE LAZY CREW! The crew was also really stingy, they will check your water bottle before they even give you a new one. Fortunately, Hongkong airlines have received my feedback via my Instagram – @westcoastaviation_ then they sent me this email :

Dear Mr. Cheng
Thank you for choosing Hong Kong Airlines.
We regret to learn of your disappointment in regard to the handling of our cabin crew on your flight. Although admittedly our cabin crew staff could have provided a higher standard of service. We have forwarded your case to our Inflight Services Department to investigate, who I have no doubt will take appropriate remedial actions against the procedures and staffs concerned. Meanwhile, we will reprimand and provide service training to concern staff for service improvement, as we do agree that our ground staff could be more professional and considerate.
Concerning your feedback about the quality of the inflight meal we provided on board, we want all our customers to have a pleasant experience and therefore, I am sorry to learn of your disappointment. Rest assured that we have shared your comments to our catering team to follow up with the meal supplier and strongly requested the importance of the food quality and the control of the meal production.
Nonetheless, as we fully understand the frustration and disappointment of Mr. Lam on the day of questions, as a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer you with souvenirs. Appreciated if you could provide us with a postal address (postal code if applicable).

Up to this date, the souvenirs – passport cover and an international power plug converter have arrived.
