2015 marks the 15th edition of the Ice Magic Ice Sculpture Festival in Bruges. This year’s theme is “Wanagogo’, with representations of well-known Studio 100 figures. I went to check it out on the opening day and got lucky: there weren’t many people around opening time and so I got to take a lot of photos and film a bit without having to dodge too many other visitors.
It’s -6°C/21.2°F at the festival, so dressing up warmly was a must. I was wearing five layers but that didn’t stop my hands from freezing as I was only wearing thin gloves and had to hold the camera the entire time.
We spent about half an hour at the Ice Sculpture Festival in Bruges, but it might take you longer when it’s crowded.
