My Shinkansen Experience (Osaka-Nagoya) feat. N700 Series Shinkansen
So, when I was in the Kansai Area, I need to be at Nagoya for a huge Filipino hip-hop event there – to get their comfortably, the most preferred mode of transportation would be the SHINKANSEN.
I had a great time and it sure was quick. Maximum speeds: 285 km/h (177 mph) (Tokaido); 300 km/h (186 mph) (Sanyo); 260 km/h (162 mph) (Kyushu). And its acceleration is 2.6 km/h/s. Talk about fast!
