Hakogike Ju-taku (House) is a historical building in Tsukuhara region in Yamada town, Kitaku-Kamito-Shi, Hyogo prefecture. It is on the list of national important properties (Listed on 15 June, 1967). It is known as Hakogi Sennenya (Thousand years old house) and it is probably one of the oldest Japanese house we know.
There are two separate houses, the main house built in Muromachi period and the separate guest house built in Edo period – both of which is listed as an important property. There are also a remaining miniature hill (common in old Japanese style gardens), courtyard, barn and godown.
Now, the two important properties and the adjusting museum are open to the public.
