Tokyo Trip – DAY 2, starting the day by taking bus from the Shinjuku Expressway Bus Station to Kawaguchiko Station. It is a major bus station located across the road from Shinjuku Train Station JR South Exit. The Tickets can be purchased there for many day trips including Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko.
Mt. Fuji is an active volcano about 100km soutwest of Tokyo. Commonly, we called “Fuji-shan”. It’s the Japan’s highest peak, at 3,776m.
We decided to buy the Mt. kachikachi ropeway round trip and pleasure boat tickets.
By taking Kachikachi Ropeway, it gives fantastic views of both Mt.Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko. I went there in the end of winter and early spring, so the unmelting snow is mixed with tender greenery on the mountain could be seen.
and taking the pleasure boat to sightseeing the Lake Kawaguchiko.
Such a beautiful views, and so relaxing.
