Aomori’s annual Aomori Nebuta Festival is held every year from the 2nd to the 7th of August. It is centered around magnificent floats which are paraded around the town accompanied by music and dancers. On the evening of the 7th, the festival culminates in a fireworks show as the floats are paraded on boats.
