Bodaiji Temple　in Nagi-cho, Okayama　　　　
Bodaiji Temple was bilet in 7 century in Nagi-cho, Okayama.
A temple that Honen of the founder of the Jodo sect trained in his childhood.
In the precincts of the temple, the ginkgo tree is said to be about 40m high, about 13m around the trunk, and 900 years old.

浄土宗知恩院派の寺院で、7世紀に建てられ、浄土宗の開祖・法然上人が幼年時代に修行した寺として知られている。

この菩提寺・大イチョウは古刹菩提寺の境内にそびえ、高さ約40m、目通り幹囲約13m、樹齢推定900年といわれている。
