Tennis star Naomi Osaka and rapper Cordae are the parents to three-year-old daughter Shai.
Osaka has never addressed her break up from Cordae beyond a brief social media message.
Cordae is now talking about it through the lyrics of a new song called ‘Helpless’ with Anderson .Paak.

The couple broke up in January 2025, but it sounds like Cordae is still dealing with the fallout from it.
He did not want to raise their daughter separately; however, he suggests that he is about to be a father for the second time.
Osaka recently turned 29 and shared introspective thoughts that showed maturity and contentment with her life. She is not the same person or player who said that she had to win Grand Slams when she returned to professional tennis after giving birth. While she would certainly like to, she has demonstrated true joy for her game and the second act of her career.
Osaka has also introduced fashion into her tennis with epic Grand Slam walkout outfits, the most recent paid homage to NBA legend Allen Iverson at the US Open. A fan favorite was her Australian Open work of art.
