Naha Beyond the Beach: Pottery, a Soda Float & Market Snacks | Okinawa

An ocean in a glass? This little afternoon in Naha was full of unexpected stops.

We wander from Kokusai-dori into Tsuboya’s pottery streets, try a hand pump, and stop at nan*ne pottery & lifestyle by Ikutouen for a lemon soda float. Then it’s off to the market for a brown sugar treat and Okinawan peanut tofu, or jimami-dofu.

The walking route shown is a suggestion. The roughly five-minute walk refers to the Kokusai-dori / Heiwa-dori area to Tsuboya, depending on your starting point—not the entire afternoon. Peanut tofu contains peanuts.
