About JAPAN Fes
JAPAN Fes is a street festival-style event that brings Japanese food vendors, performers, and artists to different cities around the world. Since launching in New York in 2016, it has hosted over 200 international events and has grown to 100 events in 2026 across Tokyo, New York, Paris, Florida, Texas, and New Jersey.
The festival serves as an opportunity to experience Japanese culture while supporting vendors and local performers. It is known for its Japanese street food, including authentic dishes like ramen, takoyaki (fried octopus balls), okonomiyaki (cabbage pancakes), and karaage (fried chicken), as well as matcha lattes and specialty sweets. It also features live performances, DJ music, and cultural activities.
