The city of Cypress already has several well-regarded sushi spots and now one more can be added to the list with the opening of Sushi Blissba.

The latest concept from Sushi-Ten USA, the group behind Culver City and Huntington Beach Sushi Nigiriba spots, which prides itself on authentic sushi that follows strict Japanese guidelines, opened this month at 5253 Katella Ave. The new Sushi Blissba is led by Corporate Chef Masaya Minyu and offers an elevated sushi restaurant with an à la carte menu and coursed dishes that mix traditional Japanese dishes and creative offerings using Eastern and Western ingredients.
