Sakurajima, Dolphins & Kumamoto Castle | Japan Road Trip 3/6

Day 5–6: Kagoshima’s aquarium and a dolphin show, the ferry across to smoking Sakurajima, Sakurajima daikon, then on to Kumamoto — basashi, the city zoo and Chopper from ONE PIECE, the Suizenji garden with its little Mt. Fuji, street food at Jōsaien and Kumamoto Castle, still being restored after the 2016 earthquakes.
