Making Its Debut in Kyoto! Popular Sweets from Kobe’s Kitano District Are Available for a Limited Time at [JR Kyoto Isetan]

From Wednesday, October 7, to Tuesday, October 13, 2026, popular sweets sold at the [Kobe Kitano Nosta] gourmet complex in Kitano, Kobe, will be available at [JR Kyoto Isetan] (Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture). This marks the first time the event has been held in Kyoto. In addition to the “NOSTA Pancake Sandwich”—which has sold more than 30,000 units at the original location—the lineup will also feature products from “The Gâteau Brothers,” a brand created by three pastry chefs who have been leading the Japanese Western-style confectionery industry.
Pancake sandwiches are known for their fluffy batter made with milk from Awaji Island and are a beloved treat that can be enjoyed easily with just one hand. This time, in addition to the most popular “NOSTA Pancake Sandwich Cream,” which features lightly sweetened whipped cream, the fall-limited “NOSTA Pancake Sandwich Oimo-san,” filled with sweet potato yōkan, will also be available.
“The Gâteau Brothers” is a brand created by three parties: Hiroaki Tsujiguchi, the creator of “LE CHOCOLAT DE H”; Edelweiss Co., Ltd., which carries on the legacy of the late Takeshi Hiyane, founder of “Anténoir”; and Susumu Koyama, the creator of “Escoyama.” The collection features baked goods that reflect the individuality and stories of each creator.
