Gregory Salathé
Freshfields has strengthened its global M&A and capital practice with the appointment of Gregory Salathé as a partner in Tokyo.
Salathé joins from Morrison Foerster, where he served as a partner in Tokyo for more than two years. Before that, he was based in Hong Kong as the group general counsel of PAG, one of Asia’s largest independent alternative asset managers.
With more than 30 years of experience gained in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York, Salathé advises on private equity, cross-border M&A, downstream investments, regulatory compliance, fundraising, real estate and infrastructure, and credit lending.
His industry experience includes financial services, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, hospitality, consumer products, automotive and life sciences.
