Singapore: Agoda Company Pte. Ltd., the Singapore-headquartered digital travel platform, has appointed actor and creator Riisa Naka as its new brand ambassador for Japan and launched its latest nationwide campaign, “GO GO with Agoda!”, from 1 October 2026.

The new campaign aims to make travel planning more enjoyable and accessible for Japanese travelers while encouraging them to turn travel ideas into actual trips. Naka, who is widely recognized for her work as an actor and has built an authentic connection with audiences through social media as a creator, brings a combination of familiarity and relatability to the campaign. Her energetic and approachable personality aligns with Agoda’s objective of helping travelers feel more confident about discovering destinations and making travel plans.

Agoda Brings Japanese Entertainment and Travel Together

The campaign’s creative concept draws inspiration from familiar elements of Japanese entertainment and travel, creating a playful setting designed to make the travel planning experience feel lighter and more engaging. Naka appears across multiple storylines, including one inspired by Japanese Tokusatsu entertainment and another featuring a kappa, the mythical Japanese water creature, alongside a hot spring setting.

In addition to the main television commercial, Naka will feature in a series of shorter creative assets highlighting domestic destinations, accommodation options and value available through Agoda. The campaign uses humor and engaging storytelling to showcase Agoda’s broad travel offerings, while the recurring “A-GO-DA!” sound and “GO GO with Agoda!” call-to-action provide a consistent identity across the campaign.

Turning Travel Ideas into Booked Trips

With the new campaign, Agoda is focusing on simplifying the travel journey from discovering destinations to selecting accommodation and completing a booking with confidence. The platform offers Japanese travelers access to a range of domestic stays, from traditional ryokans to hotels, allowing them to explore destinations that suit different travel styles and preferences.

Along with its extensive accommodation portfolio, Agoda provides deals and coupons designed to offer value to travelers. The platform aims to help address common travel-planning questions such as where to go and where to stay, turning initial ideas into bookable travel experiences.

Kris Suebjaklap, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Agoda, shared: “We know Japanese travelers want to explore more of their own country, but sometimes the planning just gets in the way. This campaign is all about removing that friction and getting people excited to actually book.

We are delighted to have Riisa Naka on board because her energy and genuine love for discovery are contagious. Whether it’s a hot spring escape or a ryokan experience, we understand that every Japanese traveler has their own idea of a perfect trip, and Agoda is here to make finding and booking those stays effortless. Our goal with this campaign is simple: help more people go from ‘I’ve been thinking about a trip’ to ‘I’m booking it right now,’ and enjoy the whole journey with Agoda.”

The “GO GO with Agoda!” campaign is now live on YouTube and is also being featured on national television in Japan and across additional digital channels from 1 October. The campaign highlights Agoda’s travel inventory, including more than 6 million holiday properties, over 130,000 flight routes and more than 300,000 activities, which can be combined through a single booking
