A Satsuma Moon Viewing Night – Kagoshima, Japan
Kagoshima is rich in culture and history. On this moon viewing night, people at Kagoshima’s Terukuni shrine were treated to performances of master calligraphy, a rare Kalavinka dance, and a Satsuma biwa song titled Shiroyama composed by Katsu Kaishu.
I was quite moved by the performances and hope this video will inspire people to visit Kagoshima.
