Right on time for the start of the gift-giving season, the Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township is welcoming four new tenants, including a Japanese sushi and steakhouse and a Michigan favorite offering cherry-based products.
Mall management said the new shopping and dining options will expand the outdoor shopping center’s mix of 80-plus stores, restaurants and entertainment destinations.
“Our dynamic tenant mix at The Mall at Partridge Creek continues to serve as a community destination in Macomb County and beyond as we offer guests a place to connect with their family and friends,” Carmen Spinoso, CEO of Spinoso Real Estate Group, which leases and manages the mall, said in a new release.
Among the new outlets is The Noble Duck Japanese Sushi & Steakhouse, a new local concept going into the space formerly occupied by Bar Louie Tavern & Grill near Cooper’s Hawk and Powerhouse Gym. Bar Louie unexpectedly moved out in July 2025.

Owned by Chef Omar Mitchell, the creator of Detroit’s Table No. 2 Restaurant, The Noble Duck will offer modern Japanese dining with premium ingredients, live-fire cooking, craft beverages and sushi craftsmanship.
The new restaurant will open “this holiday season” in a 4,831-square-foot space and plans to offer patio dining in summer 2027.
Other new stores and eateries announced this week:
Cherry Republic, an iconic Northern Michigan business that makes more than 200 unique cherry products, from chocolate-covered cherries to cherry salsa, is now open. The 6,277-square-foot store is located next to Pandora inside the mall’s main entrance.
See’s Candies, a California-based chocolatier that has been serving sweet treats for 105 years, will open at the mall in November. Shoppers will be able to find a variety of candy and chocolates at the 1,499-square-foot location next to Express at the mall’s main entrance. The shop will be a seasonal holiday pop-up gifting center rather than a permanent See’s shop, according to a company spokesperson.
Aeropostale, a specialty retailer of casual apparel and accessories, will expand the mall’s fashion offerings when it opens in late November. The retailer will occupy a 3,760-square-foot store at the east end of the mall next to American Eagle.
“These new additions to the mall bring fresh energy to the center, and we encourage the community to come enjoy a day out at Partridge Creek this fall as they explore our new offerings,” Spinoso said.
