Aomori Day Trip from Hirosaki + A Local’s Kindness Saved Us! | Tohoku Travel Vlog Day 8

Day 8 of our Tohoku journey took us from Hirosaki to Aomori for a full day of sightseeing, before heading back south toward Inakadate.

We spent the day exploring Aomori and visiting places that are completely free to enjoy, taking in the city at our own pace without spending much on sightseeing.

Afterwards, we took a local mini-bus toward our hotel in Inakadate. But there was a little problem… we accidentally got off two stops too early! 😅

Luckily, a kind local person noticed that we were struggling to find our way and gave us a lift. Thanks to their generosity, we made it to our hotel smoothly — and it became one of the most memorable moments of the day.

This is another real travel day in Japan: trains, local buses, free sightseeing, a small mistake, and an unexpected act of kindness from a local.
