Tokyo’s Ikebukuro Is Full of Surprises! New Yodobashi, Hokkaido Food Festival & Halloween Spot 🇯🇵
Today, we’re exploring Ikebukuro, one of Tokyo’s busiest neighborhoods — and quite a few things have changed since my last visit!
We’ll start around Ikebukuro Station and explore the more local side of the neighborhood before checking out the huge new Yodobashi Camera. Then we’ll head over to the east side, walk through Sunshine 60 Street, explore Sunshine City, and visit the area where one of Tokyo’s biggest cosplay Halloween events takes place.
Along the way, I’ll also share one of my favorite drinks from 7-Eleven and some interesting shops and places you might want to check out if you’re visiting Ikebukuro.
Finally, we’ll head to Tobu Department Store for its popular Hokkaido food event, where I try a fresh seafood bowl, before finishing our day at Ikebukuro West Gate Park.
