Radiohead are heading to Australia and Japan in 2027 for a 21-show run spanning Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Saitama. Ticket registration is open now through the band’s website, with the shows following their European city residencies in November and December 2025.
The Australian dates represent Radiohead’s first performances in the country since November 2012, ending a nearly 15-year gap between visits. Perth’s RAC Arena gets four shows beginning May 3, followed by six nights at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and six at Afterpay Arena in Sydney.
Japan follows in June with five concerts at GMO Arena in Saitama. Radiohead’s last headline performances in Japan took place in October 2008, while their most recent performances in the country came at Summer Sonic in 2016.
The announcement extends the band’s return to live performance following their 2025 European residencies. Those concerts brought Radiohead together onstage for their first shows since 2018, with the band playing multiple-night runs across Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin.
The 2027 schedule is built entirely around arena residencies. Radiohead will play multiple nights in each of the four destinations, including six performances each in Melbourne and Sydney.
It’s a huge run for listeners who’ve waited years to see Radiohead return to these parts of the world, particularly in Japan, where nearly two decades will have passed since the band’s previous headline concerts.
Radiohead are also using a registration system designed to get tickets directly into fans’ hands and reduce access for touts and bots. Tickets will only be accessible by registering through the band’s website with Frontier Touring for Australia and eplus for Japan.
Registration opened September 7 at 3 p.m. AWST, 4 p.m. JST and 5 p.m. AEST. Full ticket information is available through Radiohead’s official website.
