Rybakina holds a 1-0 lead after outlasting Osaka in three sets in Toronto last month.
She hasn’t dropped a set through three rounds in New York and sits two wins from the world No. 1 ranking.
Osaka has gone three sets against both Katerina Siniakova and Elise Mertens, either side of a tight straight-sets win over Anastasia Zakharova.
The two-time champion here has the New York pedigree to match Rybakina’s current form.

Iga Swiatek vs. Qinwen Zheng prediction
Swiatek has won seven of their eight career meetings and remains unbeaten in sets through three rounds, backed by a title run in Toronto and a semi-final finish in Cincinnati.
Zheng has needed three sets in every round so far, including a comeback from 5-0 down in the decider against Madison Keys.
It’s a remarkable run for a player who fell to No. 121 after injury, but Swiatek’s head-to-head dominance and current level make her the pick.
