“Samyang 1963·Ta-da Woozi” gift set

A unique product has been released that presents ramen instead of Korean beef and fruits, which are popular items for holiday gifts. Samyang Foods is targeting the Chuseok gift market with premium ramen using Uji (soy oil).

Ahead of Chuseok, Samyang Foods announced on the 31st that it will release a limited set of 2000 sets of Samyang 1963 X Salal Woozi Gift Set, which combines premium ramen “Samyang 1963” and “Salalu Woozi.”

This gift set features a package with a concept reminiscent of a meat gift set. Two types of Uji Ramen, the representative of Samyang Foods, were put together to revive the atmosphere of holiday gifts.

Samyang 1963 is a modern reinterpretation of the Uji Yutang method used to make Samyang Ramen in the past. Beef bone broth, radish, green onion, and Cheongyang red pepper were added to the noodles fried with Uji to realize a savory flavor and spicy soup taste.

Uji is jajang ramen with Uji yutang technology. It is a product that makes use of the savory taste of noodles and adds a rich black bean sauce flavor, and Samyang Foods allows you to experience various flavors of Uji Ramen through the two products.

Samyang Foods previously introduced a gift set using Samyang 1963 during this year’s Lunar New Year. This Chuseok, the product composition was expanded by adding salty Uji and applying a package that takes advantage of the holiday atmosphere.

Gift sets are sold on major online channels such as Naver, Kakao Gift, Coupang, and Gmarket. Among them, Samyang Food Naver Smart Store will introduce early bird specials only for 300 sets from the 31st to the 6th of next month.

An official from Samyang Foods said, “We formed Samyang 1963 and Jara Uji together so that you can enjoy a wide range of Uji Ramen’s charms,” and added, “I hope it will be a unique holiday gift that contains both taste and fun.”
