To celebrate 60 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Japan, Mother Farm in Chiba created a special Singapore Festival.
As a Japanese person living in Singapore, I drove from Tokyo to see it for myself. Along the way, I also stopped at Umihotaru – a man-made island rest area in the middle of Tokyo Bay.

The SG festival in Japan, shows that SG has got nothing to present! So sad! SG still need others to help promote SG! So pathetic!
I meant, if it was done by STPB… I think they ought to make it 100% Singapore right! But I guessed STPB is also scratching this head…. Becos there isn't anything for SG to present.
Ghib, you can find fried popiah at the 'ngoh hiang' & 'economical beehoon' stalls in hawker centres. They can be very oily & greasy though, & the taste also overwhelmed by the five-spice powder. Dim sum stalls at kopitians & food courts also sell the milder version, by not deep-frying as much while also using cleaner cooking oil. Some say it's Hokkien/Teochew vs Cantonese cooking styles, but who knows. Tip: Very convenient finger food for your growing toddler after she begins teething lol.
