Jennie gave one silver satin bra three assignments at the Summer Sonic Music Festival.
For her Osaka set on Sunday, the Blackpink member wore the McQueen metallic lingerie piece with a crushed flower jacquard miniskirt, a high-neck harness and, most notably, a pair of bumsters cut from ivory Sarabande lace hand-sprayed blue and lilac.

The “Dracula” singer performed on the Air Stage at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park on Aug. 16. The bra twisted across her chest, with slender straps crossing her torso. From there, very little stayed the same.
The closest she came to a matching set paired the bra with a cropped jacket and miniskirt in silver crushed flower jacquard. Large oval openings broke up the jacket’s frogging along the front and sleeves, exposing flashes of silver satin underneath.

For the other two looks, the K-pop star swapped the miniskirt for bumsters. Made from ivory Sarabande lace hand-sprayed blue and lilac, the extreme low-cut style sat well below her hip bones, staying narrow through the thighs and flaring below the knees. One ruffle fell diagonally from her hip, with more swirling down from the knee to the pants’ hem.
One of the bumster looks left the bra exposed beneath an ivory cotton-twill harness that rose into a high collar. The other brought in the clearest military reference: a cropped beige wool-gabardine jacket covered in pearl-embroidered frogging. The loops ran down the open front and continued across the cuffs, making a strict officer’s jacket out of rows of pearls.

The custom pieces pulled from McQueen’s spring and fall 2026 collections and spring 2027 pre-collection. Seán McGirr put the bumster back at the center of the house’s spring 2026 runway, more than 30 years after Alexander McQueen introduced the extreme low-rise trousers in his fall 1993 “Taxi Driver” collection. The cheeky name came from the strip of backside left visible above the waistband. McQueen used that exposure to visually extend the torso, creating the elongated, slightly menacing proportions he wanted.
Inspired by the 1973 folk horror film “The Wicker Man,” McGirr’s collection set rigid uniforms against clothes that appeared to be coming undone. In her WWD review of the spring 2026 collection, Joelle Diderich described it as “brimming with erotic tension,” with bumsters worn under military jackets, frilled corsets and cropped chain mail.

At Lollapalooza two weeks earlier, Jennie wore an Ann Demeulemeester regimental jacket with black leather layers, a feathered headband and biker boots. She kept the idea of an abbreviated military jacket for Summer Sonic. Everything around it became paler, lower and considerably lacier.
