24 Hours in Fukuyama, Kurashiki, and Okayama

From Hiroshima, we drove all the way in one day visiting places like Fukuyama, Kurashiki, and Okayama. We stopped by really quickly to see the Fukuyama castle, then visited the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter (which is really worth it cause it’s a beautiful spot with rows of willow trees and canals intersecting the streets), and Okayama Castle and its gardens. If you haven’t watched my video on Hiroshima and Miyajima Island previously, you can watch it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdNZzuhdtrw

Okayama Korakuen Garden is actually considered as one of Japan’s top 3 most famous gardens. Yes, the entire Japan! And in the garden we were able to see some amazing red autumn leaves, the purpose of coming to Japan this time around.

The Okayama Castle was very interesting too, as we walked through six floors to learn about the history of not only the castle, but also how Okayama came about as well.
