We made a mistake getting to Snow Monkey Park — and it cost us time.

Instead of taking the direct bus from Nagano Station, we took the train to Yudanaka Station, and then a bus. It sounded logical — but it added unnecessary transfers and delay.

The direct bus from Nagano is much simpler and usually the better option.
