Sidequesting in Gojome, Akita! #japan #tohoku #akita #travel #sidequest

Got invited up to Gojome town in Akita Prefecture, and WOW was I impressed! It’s one of the closest towns to the Oga Peninsula on the Sea of Japan coast, but I was really surprised at all the attractions that were hidden around the town.

My neighbors in Sendai even knew about the morning market, it’s so famous regionally! People were selling all kinds of things there: baked goods, ceramics, polished gems, household goods, and tons more. Food was delicious, abundant nature, and very friendly people!
