How Locals Drink in Shibuya’s Hidden Backstreets | NOMIARUKI Ep.10

#shibuya #ShibuyaNightlife #TokyoNightlife #Nomiaruki #izakaya

Everyone drinks on Shibuya Center Gai โ€” but 5 minutes away, the hidden backstreets are where locals actually drink. Tonight I take you to 3 of them.

A standing bar with a “one drink + one food” rule (cash only), an Aomori-style izakaya with apple shochu, and my favorite tiny bar near Love Hotel Hill โ€” plus how Japanese love hotels actually work. Real bars, real prices, no tourist traps. Watch to the end so you know exactly where to walk when you get off at Shibuya Station.

  1. Hey! I just wanted to let you know that Iโ€™ve been watching your videos and channel for quite a while now, and I absolutely love your content!

Iโ€™m a huge fan of Japan. I spent about a month traveling through Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and several other cities, and I canโ€™t wait to visit again. One of my favorite things about your videos is that you showcase the non-touristy side of Japanโ€”the local bars, neighborhood restaurants, and the places where locals actually eat and spend time. Thatโ€™s exactly the kind of experience I enjoy.

Iโ€™m also a huge fan of Japanese cuisineโ€”everything from sushi, shabu-shabu, kaiseki, teppanyaki, sukiyaki, tempura, takoyaki, and just about every other Japanese dish. I love all kinds of Japanese food!

When I make it back to Japan, Iโ€™ll definitely reach out to you on social media for some recommendations.

Keep doing what youโ€™re doing! Posting consistently is great, and whenever you have time to edit, your videos always turn out fantastic. Wishing you and your friends all the best, and good luck with the channel!

  3. I know it takes a lot of work to put out multiple videos a week but it would be cool to see other types of videos along with these. Whatever you decide to do, I think we would all like to see more ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Sho! My BF and I will be there in Sept, We hope to see you. Let us know if you want to go to a Tokyo Tigers game or drinking in Shinjuku, Shibuya, Kyoto or Osaka.
