How I Spend My Day Off Living in Japan

Today was my day off in Japan, and instead of spending the whole day at home, I decided to go out and see where the day would take me.

I started the day with breakfast at an old café in Kitakyushu. After spending some time exploring, I eventually found myself sitting in front of a bowl of ramen at another old local shop.

So this wasn’t exactly a carefully planned food tour.

It was just a normal day off living in Japan.

A little exploring.

And ramen for lunch.

The ramen was delicious, with a bold broth and thin, light noodles that were easy to eat.

My rating: 8.5/10 🍜

Sometimes you don’t need a big plan to have a good day.
