Royal Rajasthan resonates in Tokyo through roadshow Jaipur: The state tourism department, in collaboration with the Indian Embassy, Monday showcased Rajasthan’s tourism potential at a roadshow in Tokyo aimed at attracting Japanese travellers. The event highlighted the state’s diverse offerings and positioned Rajasthan as one of India’s most compelling destinations for cultural and heritage tourism.Addressing the gathering, additional director Anand Tripathi spoke about the experiences awaiting tourists in Rajasthan. “Visitors can indulge in luxury tourism, desert safaris, Buddhist heritage, wedding destinations, adventure, wellness and sustainable travel,” he said. Tripathi also emphasised the state’s tourism policies, which encourage investment, heritage conservation, homestays and infrastructure reforms.Japanese tour operator Takeshi Mizuno noted, “Rajasthan has emerged as India’s most distinctive cultural and heritage destination for Japanese tourists. The packages we design are tailored to their interests, and the response has been very encouraging.”
