TORONTO — Globus is expanding its Asia and Africa portfolio for 2027 with four new Small Group Discovery tours and more than two dozen itinerary variations in some of the world’s most sought-after destinations.
The expanded collection includes new itineraries in Japan, East Africa, Namibia and Sri Lanka, along with new city stays, beach escapes and destination extensions across several existing Asia and Africa tours.
According to Globus, the additions respond to growing demand for longer, more immersive travel experiences in destinations that can be challenging to explore independently.

They’re also places where touring truly shines. FOUR NEW ITINERARIES
Leading the 2027 collection are four new Small Group Discovery itineraries.
Legacy of Japan with Hokkaido is a 13-day journey from Tokyo to Kyoto that ventures beyond Japan’s traditional highlights to include Hokkaido. The itinerary features experiences such as a visit to the Upopoy National Ainu Museum and Park, a sake tasting, a soba-making class, a Shinkansen bullet train ride, a gold leaf craft workshop and time in Kyoto.
Also new is the 13-day Kenya & Tanzania Safari Expedition, which takes travellers through six parks, reserves and conservancies aboard custom-built safari vehicles, with opportunities to view the Big Five, enjoy bush meals and visit local tribal communities.
Namibia: Land of Contrasts with Johannesburg combines South Africa and Namibia over 13 days, with visits to destinations including Sossusvlei, Swakopmund and Etosha National Park, alongside wildlife viewing and Indigenous cultural experiences.
Rounding out the new additions is Sri Lanka: Ancient Capitals & Wild Kingdoms, a 12-day itinerary featuring UNESCO World Heritage Sites, elephant safaris, tea country rail journeys and village experiences.
