Skies of A Strange Land | Narita to Aomori | Japan

Originally this was a personal video for myself.

This video is my first trip to Japan, embarking on an 8-day road trip journey to mainland Japan’s northernmost prefacture.

“Skies of a Strange Land” Is a reference to the Trails of Cold Steel soundtrack of the same name and there is no better way to describe this incredible journey I had. The map animations I made is also inspired by the Trails series.

The music used is ARCADIA sung by Isekaijoucho. This song showed up in my playlist while I was driving during this trip and got me to discover Isekaijoucho’s song. ARCADIA’s melody and lyrics blends perfectly with the themes and visuals of this journey that inspired me to make this video.

After the many locations I visited, I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful these locations are and hope this inspires someone on a new adventure.
