I don’t believe I mentioned in the video, but since it’s a resort home there is a management fee of 370 dollars or 60,000yen per year. Also a monthly water charge of 12 dollars or 2,000yen/month. The management company does nightly patrols around the area. They also maintain the roads and clear any trees if they were to break and fall. This can make it more suitable for those using it as a holiday home or for short-term rental situations.

if it weren't for the fact that it was on stilts on a hillside I would score this one up there with a good deal. Might still be I'm just not prone in earthquake country
So the house cost + renovations were $43,011.68- at today's dollar, but she sells it for $36K ? Why is she willing to lose $7,000-, not only supposedly lose, but make no money whatsoever…strange, isn't it?
