Lalique has opened its first directly operated boutique in Osaka, Japan, expanding its presence in Japan and highlighting its collaboration with handcrafted wallpaper brand, Fromental.

Lalique said the opening of the boutique strengthens its long-term commitment to Japan, expanding its presence in the Kansai region.

“Japan has always been an essential market for Lalique, shaped by a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and artistic expression,” said CEO Nina Müller in a release. “With our first directly operated boutique in Osaka, we are creating a space that brings our universe to life in a more immersive and direct way. This opening reflects our ambition to strengthen our presence in Japan while building closer relationships with our clients.”

The boutique’s crystal vases, decorative objects, jewelry and fragrances, as well as architectural pieces such as chandeliers, ceiling lamps and interior crystal panels, showcase Lalique’s unique ability to shape light at every scale, the company said.

There are crystal panels featuring Lauriers and Merles et Raisins and a suspended Champs-Elysées Iiana installation, and some of Lalique’s signature animal sculptures and cherry blossom-inspired designs, which echo a motif deeply rooted in Japanese culture.
