Luxury hotel rooms in town going for a fraction of winter rates during offseason

SAPPORO, Japan — The Japanese winter resort town of Niseko, grappling with a seasonal gap in hotel rates that can be more than 10-fold, has landed on using video game content to try and bring in tourists during offseasons.
