If you have a short stay in Fukuoka and wonder what you can do on the northern shore of Japan’s Kyushu Island, this vlog is for you! Throughout the 48-hour stay, I’m taking you to try the city’s signature dishes and explore its top attractions, including Fukuoka Tower, Kushida Shrine, Ohori Park, and Canal City Hakata. As we’re also in time for the wisteria season, we are going on a tour to marvel at this beautiful flowering plant blooming in hues of purple, pink, and white. We also have a chance to visit the Kokura Castle, which contains a museum showcasing Japanese history and samurai culture. Mojiko, the historic port town in Kyushu, is also on our agenda. We can see preserved Western-style buildings and red-brick warehouses dating from the Meiji era and sample the famous baked curry topped with cheese and a raw egg.
